We believe that the Christian message is good news for the 21^st century and we want to share that good news with the people in our community. That good news is of the total love of God for all people. We believe that this love is seen in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.

We are a Local Ecumenical Partnership (two different Christian churches working together) between The Methodist Church and the Church of England.

We particularly want to serve the people close to where we worship so our 'catchment area' is Hanworth and Woodenhill, along with parts of Great Hollands and Birch Hill. However, we will always welcome people from further afield!

We have people who come from a wide range of Christian traditions who bring different perspectives and individual riches, so we are not easy to label. Whatever your background - church or no church - you are very welcome.

We are aware that many people in today's world have had little exposure to the Christian faith or contact with the church. We particularly want to help such people to hear the good news of God's love that we have to share. We know this needs to be done in ways which:

• respect the spiritual journeys that people are already on - whether you feel that you are at the beginning or near the end!
• build upon the knowledge of Christian faith and worship which people have, but do not assume too much prior knowledge
• accept the difficulties in Christian believing in today's world

We are also convinced that the message of God's love is for everyone and for every aspect of our lives. We are involved in 'non-churchy' things because those things matter to you and so they matter to God who loves you.
