We welcome the involvement of people of any faith or none in our community groups. For many people getting involved will be at the level of taking part in one or more of the groups (sign up on the My Church @ the Pines page.

However, you may want to get involved at another level. You may have skills or time which you would like to share with others. Perhaps you would like to help us run one of our existing groups (there are plenty of roles from being a walk leader to sharing a creative skill) or you might have an idea for another group.

If you would like to consider being involved in this way we would love to hear from you! Please note that:

• even if you don't share our faith motivation, you would have to be willing to operate within our values which include
  • equal opportunities for all regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, age, health, ability, financial circumstances
  • valuing the whole person: body, mind and spirit
  • respect for people's different views and values
  • an ethos of service and care
  • an offering of oneself (time and skills) for the good of others
• we are about service in the community rather than personal profit so we cannot allow individuals to use 'volunteering' as really being about promoting their own business or selling their products.
